Access by car

Château de Colonster is located at the southern entrance to the Sart Tilman university campus, 2 minutes from theE25 freeway , about 10 km from Liège.

Directions from Brussels (Autoroute E40), Namur (E42): At the Loncin interchange, take the A602 motorway slip road towards Luxembourg and the E25 freeway. This E40-E25 link is constantly monitored by several speed cameras. It passes through a first tunnel under the Cointe hill, then the "Pont de Liège", before a second tunnel under Kinkempois.
Leave the E25 freeway at exit 40 "Embourg". Turn right to cross the Ourthe, then left to Sart Tilman. Then turn right to enter the university estate via Boulevard du Rectorat. You'll soon find the Allee des Érables on your right, lined with trees on both sides.

From Maastricht (E25) or Aachen (E40): Follow the E40 freeway towards Brussels, as far as the Loncin interchange. Then follow the route described above.

From Luxembourg (E25) : Leave the E25 freeway at exit 40 "Embourg". Take the bridge over the Ourthe, then left towards the Sart Tilman. Then turn right to enter the university estate via Boulevard du Rectorat. You'll soon find the Allee des Érables on your right, lined with trees on both sides.

The parking lot

The Château parking lot can accommodate up to 150 vehicles. With its curved lines, it blends in perfectly with its surroundings without detracting from them. In spring, the cherry blossoms give it a particularly beautiful color.

The Château is some 50 metres from the parking lot. Vehicle access to this driveway is reserved for suppliers or people with reduced mobility.

Access for people with reduced mobility

People with reduced mobility can register at the barrier.

To enter the château, you have to pass three small steps, each 9 cm high, and then the 15 cm threshold. Once inside, all meeting and reception rooms are accessible by elevator (1m x 80 cm; door opening: 80cm). PRM toilets are located on the^1st floor.
